Requirements for Waterproofing Licence in NSW

Types of Waterproofing Licenses
There are three main types of waterproofing licenses in NSW:
- Contractor License: Allows you to contract and advertise for waterproofing work.
- Qualified Supervisor Certificate: Permits you to supervise and perform waterproofing work, but not to contract for it.
- Endorsed Contractor License: Combines the benefits of both contractor and qualified supervisor licenses.
Qualification Requirements
To obtain a waterproofing license in NSW, you must have one of the following qualifications:
- CPC31420 Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing (current)
- CPC31411 / CPC31408 Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing
- BCG31403 Certificate III in Waterproofing (General Construction)
- Qualification 90464 Certificate III in General Construction (Waterproofing) TAFE course #8126

Additional Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You need to complete construction induction training and obtain a White Card

- Apprentices and trainees cannot apply for a license until they complete their training
- If you've held a relevant license in the past 5 years, you may not need to show qualifications again
