What is RPL and how it works.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process that allows individuals to have their prior learning and experience recognized, gained through work experience, life experience, and other forms of learning outside traditional education settings. It's a way to Convert your experience into nationally recognised qualifications without having to repeat learning you've already done.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available to anyone who has gained relevant skills, knowledge, and experience through work, life, or previous study. To be eligible for RPL in Australia, you need to have evidence that demonstrates your competency in specific areas related to your desired qualification. This can include formal qualifications, work experience, volunteer work, or even hobbies and personal projects.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) costs in Australia vary depending on several factors, including the qualification level, industry, and complexity of the assessment process. RPL is often more cost-effective than completing a full course, as it can significantly reduce the time and resources needed to obtain a qualification. To get an accurate cost estimate for your specific situation, it's best to contact us directly.
The amount of experience needed for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) varies depending on the qualification you're seeking and the specific requirements of the Registered Training Organisation (RTO). Most RTOs expect you to have at least a few years of practical experience in the field. Take our 30-second skills check to assess your eligibility.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) in Australia readily accepts overseas experience. This process allows international professionals to convert their foreign qualifications and work experience into recognized Australian credentials. Whether you've worked abroad or studied in another country, RPL can help validate your skills against Australian standards.
